It has been quit the week for comic book nerds like us. We got our first look at our Superman for the upcoming movie in 2025, X-Men ’97 is getting better after every episode, & some cool rumors floating around the interweb.

Let’s start with DC and its new fearless leader, James Gunn. Since taking over the reigns at DC Gunn has been very transparent in his process to make fans comfortable with the new regime. After Zack Snyder’s reign at the company, we had high hopes for his vision but, the execution was lackluster and fell short of fan expectations.

With James Gunn, who is coming off consistent success over at Marvel Studios with the Guardian of the Galaxy franchise, fans of DC Universe have been a bit on the fence about the anchor for the franchise reboot for Superman F.K.A. Superman: Legacy. The reason being, is that former Superman, Henry Cavill portrayed the character so well and became beloved by fans, even though the script for his movies were not good.

Well, here we have David Corenswet. The newcomer who will now down the red cape and the “S” on his chest. James Gunn gave us our first look at our new Supes, and we along with the rest of the “sweaties” are 50/50 on what is going on in the picture that surfaced online. Speedy, Tarik and I debate on whether Corenswet is built to play Superman and predict what will happen in the film judging by the photo.

We also, get into the last episodes of X-Men ’97 where things are unwinding and getting really serious, and some Marvel Studios & DC Universe rumors that have been surfacing online. Please, take these rumors with a grain of salt, as they are not official & alleged at this point. Check out the full show below.

As someone who grew up on Super Nintendo games, this is so exciting! Mario Kart, Super Mario Sunshine, Donkey Kong, Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario 64 were all vital video games from my childhood that kept me entertained for hours. I've seen videos of these parks in Japan and Hollywood and have been dying of FOMO for our park in Florida.

Earlier this year, Universal Orlando gave us the "first looks" of their new park Epic Universe. This park will transport you into expansive worlds like Nintendo, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, How To Train Your Dragon, Dark Universe, and Celestial Park.

This new world will feature attractions, dining, shopping, and interactive experiences. It all begins by entering through the iconic green pipes. If you want to make your experience even more memorable, you have the option to purchase power-up bands. With these bands, guests can collect digital coins by punching ? Blocks and playing interactive activities; collect digital stamps on attractions; earn digital keys to unlock an exclusive showdown against Bowser Jr.; and discover other hidden surprises.

On top of exploring and interacting with iconic characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and others, there's something special about this new world. The first ever Donkey Kong Country is coming to Universal Orlando. Here, fans will encounter new thrill rides and experiences with Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, and other members of the Kong family.
