Friday (July 12th), we got our first look at the upcoming Captain America: New World Order. The film doesn’t hit theaters until February 2025 so, this came as a surprise to all us fans of the MCU.
I got the notification that the trailer dropped while on in the mix for Orlando and The Freakshow’s 9 a.m. Classic Kickoff and my eyes lit up. I couldn’t wait to see this trailer. I’ve heard so many rumors about what will happen in the 4th installment of the Captain America franchise, and I am hoping that the rumors will be deemed true. Let’s react!
Wow! So, I can’t believe they gave us a first look at Thunderbolt Ross (Harrison Ford) as Red Hulk. Fans have been anticipating that transformation since Incredible Hulk came out back in 2008. That’s 16 years in the making. Rest In Peace to the original Thunder Bolt Ross, William Hurt, who passed away 2 years ago. Harrison Ford now comes in to fill that role and this time Ross will be president and wants to team up with Sam Wilson (Captain America). The presidents circle looks to be compromised judging by the trailer, and it looks like The Leader is behind it.
The Leader is another Hulk villain who we briefly saw in the 2008 MCU film as well, played by Tim Blake Nelson. He will be the big bad of this movie, which now raises the question whether Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk will make an appearance to help Cap fight Red Hulk. We will just have to wait in see when the movie hits theaters a the top of 2025.
