3 people charged in the murder of Rapper Foolio who was killed at a Tampa Holiday Inn. Shoutout to our law enforcement for the swift and quick justice. The rapper was was pronounced dead in June after being ambushed and attacked at a Holiday Inn (11606 McKinley Drive.) Tampa police say there are two other suspects that they are waiting to arrest as well. All 5 people are said to be member's or connected to Foolio's rival gangs.

3 People Arrested In Jacksonville For The Murder Of Foolio

Isaiah Chance, Alicia Andrews and Sean Gathright were all arrested in Jacksonville over the weekend for the murder of Foolio. They are accused of premeditated first-degree murder along with other charges. Police say that on June 23rd the suspects followed Foolio's every move before ambushing him at the Holiday Inn located in Tampa. All three suspects are said to be members of Foolio's rival gangs, ATK and 1200. Tampa Police Chief Bercaw believes that the two gangs worked together to murder Foolio due to an ongoing feud.

Today, the Tampa police had a press conference and they showed surveillance from the night of the shooting. Foolio whose real name is Charles Jones was being stalked. At one point, the shooters were parked across the street from the Holiday Inn where Jones was staying. The suspects can also be seen wearing all black and firing multiple shots at the car the Jones was riding inn. The shooters were armed with a handgun and two riffles.

A warrant has been issued for the other two suspects and I will keep you updated when I hear more.

Which Florida City Made The List With Highest Murder Rates In U.S.

There's lots to love about the Sunshine State, but we're also notorious for the craziest crimes. One Florida city even ranked in the top 15 for highest murder rates in America. It's not really a list we love to see Florida on, but we can't say we're not surprised with all the insane stuff that happens here.

Our friends at neighboorhoodscout.com ranked the top 30 cities in the country with the highest murder rates per 1,000 residents. They condensed their research by including cities with 25,000 or more people. They collected their data by the number of murders reported to the FBI to have occurred in each city, and the population of each city. The city population data comes straight from the US Bureau of the Census at the time of each analysis. For instance, the 2022 list population uses 2020 population figures. The 2021 list uses 2019 figures, and so forth.

There were 14 new cities making the list this year. "The newcomer on this list with the highest murder rate is Saginaw, MI. The number of murders in Saginaw more than doubled from the previous year." Thankfully (and surprisingly) only one Florida city was ranked in the research.

Here's the top 15 cities with the highest murder rate. Click here to see the full list.
