Florida Man Allegedly Shoots Cousin Over Parking Spot
They say “Only unhappy family members gossip about their own family”. However, everyone has a story about a family member that has done them wrong. They’ve probably stolen your clothes, possibly even your significant other, or maybe they snitched on you at a family reunion. But I bet no family member did you as wrong as this one Man from Miami. This Florida Man allegedly shot his cousin over a parking spot.
The Story
In a report obtained by Newsweek, Miami Police Officers responded to an emergency call about a shooting around 11:30 p.m. on July 27. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from 4 gunshot wounds. Shockingly, another man was at the scene to tell the police what happened. Turns out the person at the scene, was the victim’s cousin. The cousin also admitted to shooting the victim. So police immediately arrested this terrible excuse for a cousin. That’s when they got more information from both the victim and the cousin.
The report states that the victim admitted the two men had been arguing over parking spaces. Apparently, the victim had simply asked this poor excuse for a cousin to move his car, which led to this outrageous and violent response. The victim had been shot 3 times in the left thigh and grazed on his wrist. This led to the victim locking himself in a room for safety. After the cousin allegedly threatened his life, the victim called the police.
To make matters worse, the gun also turned out to be stolen. According to a record check, the gun had been missing since 2021 from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The cousin is now being charged with attempted felony murder and causing injury with a firearm, grand theft of a firearm, and discharging a firearm in an outdoor or residential area.
I mean, I get it. Stealing someone’s parking spot is diabolical, but I don’t think that warrants shooting someone over it—especially one of your family members. 4 times!
