Latto Is Coming To Tampa And We Have All The Information For Tickets

All eyes have been on Latto lately. Everything from who she is dating to where she ranks in the hip hop hierarchy. Seems we can’t get away from her, and signs are showing it isn’t going to stop any time soon. Get ready Latto fans! Big Mama is coming to Tampa, and we have all the information on how to get tickets.

Sugar Honey Iced Tea Tour

LiveNation just announced that Latto will be hitting the road this fall for the Sugar Honey Iced Tea Tour. This comes just a few weeks after the release of her latest album, that is titled the same as the tour. Starting in October, Big Latto, Mariah The Scientist and Karrahbooo will be making their way through North America, and Tampa will be the first stop on the 25th at the Yuengling Center.

Now as far as tickets, they start going on-sale tomorrow (Friday, August 16) at 10 am. However, pre-sale tickets for Ticketmaster and LiveNation begin selling today (Thursday, August 15) with their “secret codes”. If only someone had those codes… Oh yeah, I do! If you are going on Ticketmaster, ticket sales start at noon with the codeword “VIBE”. For those of you buying them from LiveNation, those tickets will go on-sale at the same time, but with codeword “CREATE”. You better hurry though. There are only a limited amount of tickets for pre-sale.

What can you expect from Latto’s new album you ask? Well , she answered that question in an interview with VIBE saying ” I’ve been pulling from Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, and Lil’ Kim.” She also said “I’ve been pulling from Kelis, but obviously with a Southern Hip-Hop twist. They have very feminine energy, but masculine in the sense of confidence.”

Rich grew up in the Bronx, NY but moved to Tampa in 2006 to attend the University of Tampa. Even though he completed 4 years at the University for Sports Management, Ortiz realized his true passion for radio after taking a couple of classes to fulfill his communications minor and volunteering at UT's WUTT radio station as a sports director. Rich also worked at several clubs in Tampa as a host/promoter where he would meet and work alongside Davy Rolando, who would be the one who would help him get a job at WiLD 94.1. From there, Rich worked his way up from Promotions assistant to promotions coordinator, to eventually full-time on-air. Rich loves to write about his favorite Tampa food spots, concert reviews, and the WiLDest Florida man/woman stories.
