Florida ‘Psychologist’ Forces 15-Year-Old Girl To Sleep With Boyfriend For Drugs
A woman who called herself a “psychologist” intentionally befriended a 15-year-old girl to get her to have sex with two men for drugs. Maria Ximena Duarte, 45, was hanging out at a Florida hotel pool when the young girl walked by and started to chat with her. She tried to ply the girl with alcohol and more, all to get her to sleep with two grown men because she needed drugs. She is now facing charges of human trafficking of a child, lewd and lascivious exhibition on a child younger than 16, lewd and lascivious battery, and interference with custody.
‘Psychologist’ Forces 15-Year-Old Girl Into Sex:
After the sexual assault happened at the hotel the 15-year-old girl went to the police to report the incident. She revealed that Duarte was hanging out at a hotel pool area while walking her dog. Duarte quickly became friends with the teenager telling the girl that she was a psychologist, to gain her trust.
According to Local10, “The victim grew comfortable with Duarte and confided in her about issues in her personal life and was told that they had shared life experiences. During the conversation, she offered the victim a marijuana cigarette to smoke and also bought alcoholic beverages from the hotel’s bar and offered them to the victim, but the victim declined.” She spent time in Duarte’s hotel room and returned the next day.
When the girl came back Duarte took pictures of the girl and sent them to a man, claiming that the girl was 21 and interested in having sex with him. However, the girl told police that she heard Duarte tell one of the men her real age. She refused to have sex with the man explaining that “she wasn’t like that.” Then
Duarte had sex with a man in front of the girl asking her to use her phone to record it. Duarte’s boyfriend arrived and she tried to leave the girl alone with him.
The girl was uncomfortable and said no but Duarte pushed her back inside and told her to make the man “feel good.” She hid in the bathroom and when she came out to leave Duarte’s boyfriend grabbed her leading to a sexual assault. The girl found out that Duarte exchanged sex for drugs to support her addiction.
