Founder Of SNAP Arrested For Child Sex Abuse:
This is such a sad situation. It seems like you can’t trust anyone these days. The founder of the Special Needs Advocacy Program SNAP was arrested after the FBI did an investigation on him. James “Jamie” Grover, 62, was arrested by Special Agents after they found evidence at his Deltona home. They even went to his workplace and found other information at the Seminole Town Center Mall in Sanford. The FBI has reason to believe that Grover has been targeting young boys since 2010. They think he has been using his Special Needs Advocacy Program, serving as Group Director of “Autism on the Seas” in order to get closer to children and abuse them.
According to WFLA, “SNAP is a program that offers opportunities to the special needs community. “Autism on the Seas” is an international organization offering cruise actions for adults and families living with special needs, the FBI said. The FBI believes Grover could have more victims. Anyone who believes they have been victimized, or has any information on this investigation is asked to fill out this form.” Police say that all the victims’ identities will remain confidential.
It’s absolutely disgusting that someone in his position would try to take advantage of families with special needs children and then sexually abuse the kids as well. There could be multiple victims so if you know anyone who has information please make sure you call the police.
