Cardi B has allegedly welcomed her third child, a baby girl, according to AllHipHop, which cites a source close to the rapper. The insider spilled that Cardi kept her pregnancy under wraps until she was six or seven months along and revealed that the baby was born on Saturday (Sept. 7) after an induced labor.

Cardi finally confirmed the pregnancy on August 1, 2024, following months of speculation that started in June. This marks her third child with Offset, joining big siblings Kulture, 6, and Wave, 3. The grand reveal came with a glamorous photoshoot featuring Cardi in a feathery red outfit, NYC skyline in the background, and a heartfelt caption expressing how this pregnancy has recharged her. "You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!” she wrote.

And just to spice things up (because nothing is simple in celeb life), on the very same day, TMZ dropped the bombshell that Cardi and Offset were heading for divorce. Sources called it “a long time in coming” and hinted that the two have “just disconnected from each other.”

As for the baby news? Cardi hasn’t confirmed anything yet.

Celeb Birth Details Under Wraps

Many of us know how people love to dissect every detail of a celebrity pregnancy. It’s like, once the news is out, the world wants to know the baby’s time of birth, weight, star sign, and probably their future career aspirations.

On Friday, Aug. 23, Justin and Hailey Bieber recently welcomed their son, Jack Blues Bieber, and shared very few details. Justin posted a photo of Jack’s foot on Instagram with the caption "WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER.” Hailey, reshared the post on her Instagram Stories as she added a bear and blue heart emoji.

But fans didn’t get information like the birth date or weight. However, their friend Adwoa Abwoa, while announcing her own child’s birth, revealed Jack was born on August 22.

“Our stunner of a daughter was born at 11:22pm on the 23rd of August by emergency cesarean,” Adwoa wrote alongside photos of her birth on Instagram on Aug. 27. “Our hearts have literally exploded into a million pieces. Shy Trinity Afua Wheatley.”

Hailey Bieber commented six heart-eye emojis and wrote, “Baby Shy!!!!” To which Adwoa replied, “A day apart.”

Now, as someone well into my own third trimester, I totally get it. Less is more when it comes to sharing baby details. People’s fascination with every little aspect of a pregnancy is wild.
