Spring Hill Man ‘Scamming Pedophiles’ Arrested For Sex With Animals
Deputies in Hernando County have been very busy lately, investigating a possible case of child pornography possession. They arrested a man who claims to be ‘scamming pedophiles’ when he needed extra money. The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office was looking into Aaron Randall after receiving a tip about possible possession of child pornography. They got a search warrant to go through his online and social media accounts and what they found was shocking.
How Was He ‘Scamming Pedophiles’ For Money?
Police were able to discover 13 files containing sexual activities that involved animals and some that featured a juvenile female involved. They found multiple conversations on Randall’s social media account where he would advertise sexually explicit videos for sale. There was also a price list attached detailing various sex acts and services. Randall would receive payment using a cellphone banking app so they could view live-streaming videos of child exploitation material.
Detectives showed up at his Spring Hill home on Wednesday and he admitted to owning the social media account in question. Randall also admitted to viewing and possessing the files containing sexual activities involving animals. He said he had the video footage because he was “scamming pedophiles” for money whenever he needed it. Randall explained that he did this to exploit the person and never actually distributed child pornography. He admitted that he made a few thousand dollars by doing this over the last two years.
While Randall was ‘scamming pedophiles’ he used his ex-girlfriend’s name on his banking application to hide his identity. While police searched his residents they found 2.7 grams of methamphetamine in his bedroom. Randall told them that he used methamphetamine because it was too hard to get a prescription for Adderall. According to Fox13, “Randall was arrested and charged with 13 counts of sexual activities involving animals, money laundering, criminal use of personal identification information, possession of methamphetamine. If anyone with information about this case is asked to call Hernando County Crime Stoppers at 1-866-990-8477 or **TIPS from a cellphone. Tipsters will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a $5,000 cash reward.”
