Florida Dad Uses Bat To Attack Peeping Tom Spying On Teen Daughter
This family has been dealing with a voyeur and the dad took things into his own hands. A Florida dad decided to pick up a baseball bat to take care of a peeping Tom that’s been spying on his 14-year-old daughter. Sadly, this family has been dealing with this problem for a while filing several police reports. The Palm Coast dad is being praised after he attacked and chased a man who he says has been peeping on his teen daughter.
Father Chases Peeping Tom With Baseball Bat:
On Sept. 12, the father and his wife were relaxing, sitting on their backyard porch they saw a man creeping through some trees close to their home. The couple yelled at the man and he ran off. The father was still concerned so the next night he sat on his porch once again. That’s when he saw the same peeping Tom walking towards his 14-year-old daughter’s bedroom. He was trying to look through the window and watch the girl. That’s when the dad picked up his baseball bat and swung, chasing the prowler away.
According to WFLA, the girl’s mother said, “He came sneaking around the house, came right up to my daughter’s window. So he came up cupped his hands around his eyes and was looking in, so my husband came up and was like ‘Surprise! expletive, and then whacked him with the bat and then he ran.’” Thankfully a neighbor’s camera caught the suspect and police were able to identify 29-year-old Damon Smith.
On the video, you can see the peeping Tom running from the family’s home as the dad chased him. Police caught him and he admitted to being on the victim’s property. He said he “gets a thrill” walking around people’s homes. He was arrested for loitering or prowling, aggravated stalking of a person under 16, and voyeurism and held on an $86,000 bond.

The first mass shooting of 2024 happened in Pensacola on June 2nd. Nobody was killed but 4 people were inured. The second mass shooting happened on July 28th. 2 people were killed and 5 victims were injured.
