Tampa Goody Goody Burger Restaurant To Permanently Close
A legendary stable in the Tampa Bay area is set to close it’s doors forever. Goody Goody famous burger restaurant located in Hyde Park will officially say goodbye September 29th. Known for their delicious burgers, shakes and freshly made pies it’s sad to see another Hyde Park restaurant close. However, their other location will stay open.
Hyde Park’s Goody Goody Restaurant Set The Close:
The very popular Hyde Park burger restaurant Goody Goody is sadly about to permanently close after this week. If you want to grab one last burger and fries you have until September 29th to get one. The current owners purchased the brand to revive it and only one location will remain open. If you want to go to the remaining spot you’ll have to head to the airport. The last Goody Goody will be at Airside C at Tampa International Airport if you are craving a their burger and shakes.
According to WFLA, Richard Gonzmart, the owner of the restaurant said, “Goody Goody has brought us immense joy and pride since its revival, and the memories we’ve shared with the Hyde Park Village community will always be cherished. While we have made the difficult choice to close this location, we are grateful for the incredible journey we’ve had here.” Sad day for the owners and all the employees that currently work at the restaurant.
Luckily all 60 employees at the Hyde Park location have been offered jobs owned by the 1905 Family of Restaurants They currently own the Columbia Cafe, Ulele, and Casa Santo Stefano and yes the last Goody Goody. If you have any gift cards from Goody Goody they will be honoring them at any of the 1905 Family of Restaurants.
