Yes, you read the headline right. "I live in Tampa and im upset at the airlines for price gouging." I mean it's not much I can do now, seeing that the airport closes at 9am tomorrow morning. I did however try to get a flight for Monday, but it was out of my price range. The cheapest flight I saw was a $600 one way flight to Atlanta and that is insane! My Dad was going to help me pay for it, but by the time I clicked on it, it was already sold out. I then found a one way flight to Atlanta on Delta For $860. I know right, absolutely ridiculous. With A Hurricane coming, you would think they would be a little more considerate and make the tickets affordable.

It is currently midnight and Im on my computer looking up flights. The airport closes today at 9am, so Im checking to see how much some of those flights were. Im on the Delta site right now and a one way flight to Atlanta tomorrow would be $500! I also checked the Spirt Airlines website and they are not offering flights out today. A website that I tend to check is cheapflights.com, and they have a one way flight trough Frontier for $249! Sadly that flight will never happen. The airport closes in the morning and that flight was not until 6pm today. Did you see any prices that were horrific and are you going to report them?

Safe Space For Animals

This is specifically for animal lovers. If you have a cat or dog they might be scared during the storm. Let the kids help create a safe nice cozy place for them to cuddle up. Maybe even a good brushing and petting could help calm their nerves.
