The annual Tampa Bay VegFest returns to Perry Harvey Sr. Park on Nov. 8. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can wander through stalls, watch cooking shows, and catch live acts. Florida Voices for Animals brings together more than 100 sellers, chefs, and performers for this plant-based celebration.
Guests can taste new foods, pick up tips, and join family activities throughout the day. Watch skilled chefs work their magic in the kitchen, stretch out in a yoga session, or browse through eco-friendly goods at the market stands.
Now in its tenth year, the festival draws crowds who care about green living. Little ones can spend time in the Fun Zone, where they'll make crafts and play games that teach them about wildlife and nature care.
Four standout kitchens will serve up meatless dishes at the park. World Vegan Cuisine plans to cook up their crispy wontons and fresh noodle bowls. Pure Kitchen brings their best-selling organic bites from their South Tampa spot.
Sweet treats await at Oopsy Daisy's stand, packed with fresh pastries. The much-talked-about "Bang Bang Tacos" will star at Seasoned Green's booth, next to their other hits.
Expert voices from across the U.S. will take turns at the mic. Tampa's own animal rescue teams will set up spots to show their work in the area.
Shop for earth-friendly items at the green market section. Musicians from Tampa will keep the beat going all day long.
Find the event at 1000 East Harrison St. in Tampa. Entry costs nothing. Check Tampa Bay VegFest's online pages to see who's coming and what's happening when. The six-hour fest starts at 11 a.m. sharp.
