Predalina has thrown open its doors again on Tampa's Water Street. Interior and exterior work transformed the Mediterranean restaurant into something different. The space now functions as a restaurant, cocktail lounge, and late-night spot all at once.
Two cocktail lounges appeared during the makeover. New seating fills cozy corners. A painted dance floor sits on each side of the brass-top bar. A hand-painted tile mural of Predalina Oliveira, the owner's great-grandmother, anchors the whole redesign.
Hand-laid mosaics cover walls and floors. Aged brass fixtures catch the light. Olive trees stand in corners while heavy drapery hangs from windows. Modern art and photography pieces complete the look. The patio stretches along Water Street beneath umbrellas and strung lights, inviting passersby to stop.
Menu favorites like Potato Stroma, Blue Crab Chitara, and Steak Frites return. New dishes include Burrata & Caviar, Calamari, Shaved Lamb Dip, Tuna Niçoise, and Chicken Milanese. The location first opened in the district back in 2023.
Blake Casper and Allison Casper Adams own the establishment through Oxford Commons Hospitality. The pair also owns Tampa's Oxford Exchange, the Library in St. Pete, and The Stovall House.
"Here, cocktails are savored amongst the glitter of a gold disco ball, and evenings morph into a kind of effortless cool that feels both spontaneous and inevitable," the restaurant wrote, according to WTSP.
The owners say Predalina Oliveira's love for waterfront living sparked the concept. The restaurant describes its energy as alegria de viver, which means the joy of living well.
Oxford Commons Hospitality calls the revamped spot "the most electric and glamorous concept" in its portfolio.
