Kahwa Coffee Opens South Tampa Location With Drive-Thru and Matcha Line

Kahwa Coffee has launched a cafe at 2802 West Kennedy Blvd. in South Tampa. The spot offers indoor seating and a drive-thru window. Before this, the building was home to Wok N Roll, a restaurant that served the neighborhood for years.

Three matcha drinks debuted in January: Honey Mango Matcha, Strawberry Matcha, and Matcha Lemonade. These options give customers something different from the usual coffee menu.

"We're thrilled to bring Kahwa Coffee to Kennedy Boulevard and introduce these vibrant new matcha creations," said Raphael Perrier, Co-Founder of Kahwa Coffee, according to That's So Tampa. "Our team has worked hard to craft drinks that balance the earthy smoothness of premium matcha with bold, tropical flavors."

Perrier explained how the Kennedy Boulevard cafe allows Kahwa to reach more people across Tampa while maintaining what customers want and recognize.

Cold brews helped build Kahwa's reputation throughout Tampa Bay, along with seasonal lattes and spritz drinks that change with the months. Each cafe that opens brings something a bit different but keeps the same core values and coffee standards.

Earlier openings showed creativity. One cafe features walls covered in art. Another sits inside a shipping container in St. Pete, built specifically for drive-thru service. There's even a location off Gandy where dogs can join their owners. Now South Tampa gets its own gathering place for fans who've been asking for one nearby.
