Tampa Riverfest
- What: Tampa Riverfest offers two days of free waterfront fun
- When: Friday, May 1, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
- Where: Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, 600 N. Ashley Drive, Tampa; Water Works Park, 1701 N. Highland Ave., Tampa
- Cost: Free admission; vendors will have items available for purchase
Tampa Riverfest, presented by Publix Super Markets, is a free two-day outdoor festival held on the first weekend of May along the entire length of the Tampa Riverwalk. The event spans several parks and features live music on the main stage at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, local restaurants and cultural institutions, a lantern parade, a hot air balloon glow at sunset, a wiener dog derby, a water-ski show, a paddle invasion, and a kids' zone. The festival also includes ticketed signature events: Taste of the Riverwalk on Friday and Taco Fest on Saturday.
Busch Gardens Food, Wine, and Garden Festival: Bow Wow and Ying Yang Twins
- What: Bow Wow and Ying Yang Twins perform at Busch Gardens
- When: Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
- Where: Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, 10165 McKinley Drive, Tampa
- Cost: Free with park admission; reserved seating starts at $19.99
Bow Wow and the Ying Yang Twins bring their high-energy styles together for a double-bill performance at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay's Food, Wine, and Garden Festival Concert Series. Bow Wow rose to fame as a teenage rap sensation before expanding into acting and entertainment, while the Atlanta-based Ying Yang Twins are known for their Southern hip-hop and crunk anthems. The concert is included with park admission, with reserved seating available for an additional fee.
