  During a game of Never Have I Ever with W Magazine, the Lost Daughter star said that going to wedding parties that she hasn’t been invited to was one of her “number one hobbies.”
  “There I was, holding up the bride and groom in a chair. And they were just like: ‘Who… What are you doing here?”

  Also taking part of W Magazine's Never Have I Ever segment, Garfield told the publication he threw up in front of Salma Hayek and Penélope Cruz at a party that Prince threw.
  "I was a plus one to a party that Prince gave before I made a movie so I guess I kind of did crash it. I was the person just watching everyone going, 'Hehe, there's Justin Timberlake.' And then I got too drunk and had to wait in line for the bathroom and vomit, but the worst thing about that was that two of the most beautiful actresses in the world were behind me. There was Salma Hayek and Penélope Cruz, if you need ask."
  Garfield noted that he didn't make it to the toilet in time. However, he wanted to apologize to the actresses for throwing up in front of them: "You are goddesses and I appreciate your work so deeply and I'm sorry for that experience."

  In October 2021, Tom Hanks showed up at a beach wedding in Santa Monica Pier in California and posed for photos with the bride and groom and their loved ones.
  "We see a guy walking through the crowd and initially I'm like, 'Who's this guy getting in our pictures?'" the newlyweds said. "And we hear everyone like, 'Wait, is that Tom Hanks?'"
  Hanks requested a photo with the couple saying, "Wow, what a beautiful wedding. Who's the bride? Who's the groom?" When he found out it was two brides he said, "Get out. My stock just exploded."

  The former couple popped in on a same-sex wedding reception in Winnipeg, Canada where the owner of the venue came up to the bride and said, "Hey, is it OK if Kristen Stewart and her girlfriend Stella come and have a few drinks with you guys?," to which the bride replied, "Yeah, totally! Yeah, no problem. Um, who is that?"

  The singer surprised a fan by planning with the groom's sister, who wrote to Swift about the death of their mother. The couple had gotten married by the mother’s bedside in the hospital so she wouldn’t miss out on the nuptials. The mother and son even danced to “Blank Space” before she died.
  So, Taylor made her way to New Jersey in 2016 to perform "Blank Space" during the reception while playing a keyboard and encouraged others to sing along.

  Meryl was filming scenes for Iron Lady back in 2011 when she crossed paths with a couple getting married at the UK's Manchester Town Hall — the same place where she was filming. The bride and groom were thoroughly surprised to see Margaret Thatcher (Meryl) suddenly appear during their nuptials. Meryl later sent the new couple signed pictures with congratulations, and the crew gifted them with champagne, flowers, and a glass vase.

  Lil Nas was at Disney World in 2020 doing a charity event for children. After the event, he came across a bride getting ready to go into her wedding reception. He offered to escort her into the reception, and her guests went wild as he jogged playfully to dance floor as his hit "Old Town Road" played.

  In 2011, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were walking along a beach in Malibu when they heard his music playing nearby. So naturally, they decided to show up and investigate for themselves. A then–17-year-old Justin even made a quick congratulatory speech onstage.
  "We just crashed it," he said in a video that captured the moment. "We heard a party so we decided to just come, so let's party."
  Bieber and Gomez stayed at the party for about 10 minutes, posing with the newlyweds and guests for photos, shaking a few hands and leaving all stunned and shrieking in their wake.

  In 2016, Lady Gaga was in New York for a publicity campaign when she crashed a wedding in Central Park. It was a Japanese wedding, so Gaga told the bride and groom "I love you" in Japanese before sharing a few hugs and posing for photos.
  As if straight from a fairytale, Gaga told the couple, "See, all you need is love right? Have a beautiful marriage," before hitching a ride across the park on the seat of a passing cyclist.
