Tampa was LIT up Saturday night at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre. Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa brought the HS Reunion Tour to Tampa on August 12 and we have front row photos from the show! This was the 24th stop on the 33-city tour. The tour will close out with a hometown show for Snoop in Cali. It was very fitting to be hosting some hip-hop icons on the weekend of the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop. There were a lot of generations of hip-hop fans showing out in Tampa.
It's been a while since Tampa has hosted Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg performed in Tampa. The last time Wiz was here was in 2018 for the Dazed & Blazed Summer Tour. Snoop made an appearance at the Seminole Hard Rock in Tampa in 2019.
Fast times at N.Hale HS Reunion Tour in Tampa
DJ Drama opened up the show with Berner, Warren G, and Too $hort. The crowd started going wild for Wiz Khalifa, who was introduced on stage by his son and some friends. Of course Wiz opened his set with 'Black and Yellow', brought out Too $hort for 'On My Level'. He ended his set with 'So High'.
Snoop entered the stage in a blue Chevy Impala convertible with a cloud of smoke (of course). He opened his set with some classic hits: 'The Next Episode', 'Boyz-n-the-Hood' and 'Nuthin' but a "G" Thang'. Snoop brought out Wiz Khalifa for the entire encore. They got the crowd hyped up with all the hits like 'We Dem Boyz', 'Drop It Like It's Hot', and 'See You 'Again.' Snoop & Wiz closed out the show with Wiz for 'Young, Wild & Free'
