It wasn’t your regular Tuesday night... The leader of the “Rhythm Nation” took over the Tampa Bay Stage, at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheater.
In front of a full crowd, ready to forget the days worries and dance to her “Nasty” beats. The pop-icon dazzled the night away along with a group of dancers that did not stop for the almost 2-hour set.
Everything from the lighting, to the props, the choreography, and the wardrobe gave you that old-school Janet Jackson feel we’ve been longing for. For the night, Ms. Jackson took us back into her time machine to the 80’s and 90’s.
You would think that at the age of 52, she would be slowing down but on the contrary, she looks and performs better than ever.
There is no doubt that Ms. Jackson is not going anywhere anytime soon.
It’s safe to say, the State of the World Tour is one of the best concerts of the summer.
