Florida is home to some of the best theme parks in the United States. I finally live in Tampa and still have yet to experience the rides over at Busch Gardens. I went to Howl-O-Scream, but did not get a chance to ride anything. Of course Ive also been to the some of theme parks in the Orlando area except for 2 ! Sea World and one that is considered very affordable.

U.S. News & World Report put together a list of the 17 top amusement parks in the United States. Parks that made the list were chosen for their easily accessible locations, nearby lodging options and entertainment options.  Below are the the top 10 parks that made the list. See which affordable Florida one made it!

  • Cedar Point: Sandusky, Ohio

I went to Cedar Point all the time growing up. I lived in Michigan which was not to far away. Cedar point is known for their diverse selection of 70-plus rides which includes 18 world class roller coasters.

I remember my uncle taking me here during Christmas. He lived in California and they were letting you in free if you donated a toy! Knotss is known for their unique rides and attractions.

Kennywood has very exciting roller coasters and rides that range from mild to intense.
