Bern’s Steak House Debuts New Offerings Including Bar Waitlist Seating

There’s been new bar renovations inside of Bern’s Steakhouse in Tampa!  The way the bar was redesigned leaves slightly less room, which could make the wait time even longer. The biggest change for Bern’s Steakhouse is that you can no longer walk into the bar area and take a seat. You must now ask the bartender to put your name on a waitlist for an open spot at the bar. Even if there’s an empty seat you must ask to be put on the list in order to grab a seat at the bar.

New Rules At Bern’s Steakhouse:

The new modern bar design looks very sleek but its much tighter than it was before. They did this so they could fit more people at the bar but by doing that they made it tighter. Making it more difficult for servers and workers to walk by in that area. Besides the bar changes there’s several things that haven’t changed including the plastic wrap on the toilet seats. If you’ve gone to Bern’s before one fabulous thing you’ve noticed is when you go to the bathroom there’s plastic wrap around the toilet seat.

There’s a few things that went away that are now back which is making everyone happy! The wine tour at Bern’s has officially returned making patrons very excited. Bern’s Steakhouse has one of the largest collections of wine in the entire country. If you go to dinner on a date night or with friends it’s one of the things you’ve got to request.   • New Waitlist To Sit At The Bar

    To get a seat at the physical bar, you will now have to put your name in with the bartender. You used to be able to grab a seat when someone left but that’s no longer the case. You will always have to put your name in with the bartender if you want to sit down at the bar. It’s still first come first serve, but there are no areas where you can just grab a seat if it becomes available.

  • Lounge Tables Wait List

    For the tables around the perimeter, you have to put your name in with the hostess. You can walk in and put your name on the list for a lounge table which is fantastic news.

  • Must Use Open Table

    You must use Open Table to book a reservation and they still accept walk-ins. All you have to do is put your name down on the list in the event there is a main dining room cancellation. They do accept walk-ins if there is room.

  • Wine Tours Are Back

    Bern’s famous wine tours are back! You can now take a walk to see their famous collection of delicious wines.

  • New Kids Menu

    We’ve been going to Bern’s for a long time and never seen them add a kids menu until now! Bern’s new kids menu was just added and is a huge hit for all the parents who live in town.

  • Plastic Wrap On Toilets Still There

    One of our favorite things about Bern’s that no one talks about is the plastic wrap on their toilet seats. Women especially love this because they feel extra clean and fancy every time they need to use the restroom.
