Halle Berry is promoting her film Bruised; the soundtrack will feature Cardi B and several other women rappers. During the LA leg of the press tour for the film, which is Berry’s directorial debut, the actress praises Cardi B and in doing so calls her “The Queen of Hip-Hop.”

Cardi B responded to the backlash“I know how some of you girls like to tussle over this typa childish s—… but ntm on Halle Berry,” the Grammy-winning artist tweeted.

However, the Bronx native took the high road and just continued to promote the film instead of clapping back. “Anyway her movie #BRUISED dropping THAT SHE DIRECTED HERSELF on Netflix on November 24th. The FIRST female rap movie soundtrack!! we produced together out this FRIDAY!”
