When you think of Florida, what towns do you think of? I know most will say Miami, Orlando and even Tampa. Those places are the most popular, but there are so many other beautiful towns that people are missing out on.

I use to live in the Fort Myers area and would always go visit downtown Port Charlotte! Downtown Port Charlotte has unique shopping destinations. Also great restaurants.

In my opinion, Port Charlotte is an underrated town, but it did not make this list. Trips To Discover came out with a list of the 14 most underrated towns in Florida. 5 of these towns are in the Tampa Bay Area. I have been to two of them and they are beautiful.
