When it comes to the richest city in America, there are no Florida cities on this list. I thought there would at least be one seeing that we have a lot of billionaires in our state. According to Us News, Dublin, California is the richest city in America. In Dublin there is a median household income of $205,219. 77.5% of residents have an income higher than $100K.

Ken Griffin is the wealthiest person in Florida. He is an American hedge fund manager and is the  founder, chief executive officer, co-chief investment officer, and 80% owner of Citadel LLC.  Ken Griffin does live Miami. There are many Miami suburbs that are on the list below.

    Longboat Key comes in at number 10 on this list. Located on the states gulf coast, it is one of the richest cities in Florida. Longboat Key has a population of 7,682 people and a median household income of $108,100. The median selling price of homes in Longboat Key is $1,234,400.

    Weston is not only one of the richest cities in the state, but it is also one of the safest.  This city has 67,305 residents and a  median household income of $113,048 in 2022.

    I use to live in the Naples area and yes it is one of the richest cities in Florida. Not only is it one of the richest cities but it is also the one of the best places to retire in the state of Florida. It is cheaper to buy a home over a condo in Naples. The median selling price of homes is only $641,505.

  • 7. Palmetto Bay

    The median sale price on homes in Palmetto Bay is $998,780. It will cost you around $1M to purchase a home but more  affordable than Pinecrest. Pinecrest is north of Palmetto Bay.
