Even though I don’t have a family, the city I currently live In wouldn’t be a bad one to raise a family . I currently live in St. Petersburg Floria and it did not make the list of Worst cities to raise a family. Do you have a family and are looking to move to the state of Florida? Detroit comes in at number 20 on this list. I was born and raised in this city but I can honestly say its not the best place to raise a family. Detroit battles socioeconomic and crime barriers that can harm the families there. Also The Public school system in Detroit is not great, statistics say that only a small percentage graduate high school.

Miami is a city filled with entertainment and nightlife for adults. They do have 147 parks and gardens but only a small percentage of them have playgrounds for kids. NeighborhoodScout.com, also says Miami has one of the nations highest crime rates.

It’s no shocker that Chicago is on this list. They not only have a high crime rate, but its also an expensive city to live in. According to Numbeo.com , its cost about $3,974 monthly for a family of four to live in Chicago. This price does not include the mortgage or rent.

According to statistics, Baltimore is safer than only 3% of cities in the United States. Reports say that kids can get a good education in Baltimore, but just under 20% of high school students graduate.
