Gov. Ron DeSantis made his frustrations known with masks during his visit to Tampa during a news conference at the University of South Florida.
DeSantis had a scheduled appearance at USF in Tampa and before going to the podium to address the audience, the governor said with considerable frustration to a group of students behind him who were wearing masks:
“You do not have to wear those masks,” Gov. DeSantis said. “I mean, please take them off. Honestly, it’s not doing anything and we’ve gotta stop with this COVID theater. So if you want to wear it, fine, but this is ridiculous.”
