In some cities, school has already started. I live in St. Petersburg, Florida and school here starts on August 10th. I don’t have any kids but at one time my niece was thinking about coming to live with me. Im happy that Pinellas County schools is not considered the worst school district in Florida.

Are you thinking about moving to Florida and want to avoid putting your kids in the worst school district? If your answer is yes, then you have come to the right article. When moving, keeping your kids education in mind is important. According to USA Today, “A good school district can greatly increase a child’s chances of future success.” With that being said, Word Population Review  created a list of the worst school districts in each state. They got their data from USA Today.

How USA Today Got Their Data

USA Today used data from the U.S. Census Bureau, National Center for education statistics and 24/7 Wall St. With these sources they developed an index of measures, including the teacher-to-student ratio, the child poverty rate, per-pupil spending, the share of adults with a college education, and the high school graduation rate. These measures were all used to determine the school district where students are least likely to succeed in every state.
