It’s always good to get reviews on places before you spend your hard earned money to travel there. U.S. news and world report put out a list of the “Best Places To Visit In Florida In 2023.” One of the top 5 places is actually near my house. I live in St. Petersburg, and go to this particular beach all the time.

How were these places determined to be the best? U.S. News and World Report let travelers and the editors decide.

They asked travelers if a destination belonged on the list. Once that was determined the editors then scored the individual destinations. They scored them on a scale of 0 to 5 in categories such as sights, culture, people, food, family, nightlife, adventure, romance, value and accessibility.

U.S. News and World report has a list of the 20 best places to visit in Florida. Below are the top 5 places the made the list, including the Island which ranked #1! Have you been to any of these places? Are there some that should not be on this list? Feel free to email me [email protected]
