Orlando & The Freakshow

Let’s be honest with each other, the majority of you reading this had no expectations for our Buccaneers at the beginning of the season. We were fresh off of our break-up with Tom Brady, our defense looked a bit different, and we weren’t sure who our starting quarterback was going to be. Now it’s 17 weeks later and not only are the Bucs in the playoffs, but NFC South champions too!

When it comes to partying, Tampa has always been the place to be. Especially during Championship runs. It seems like an eternity ago when we were dubbed Champa Bay. We were celebrating the Bucs Super Bowl LV win and the Lightning were coming off back-to-back Stanley Cup championships. No one could tell us anything. However, that was not the case for the last few years.

Since 2021, both the Lightning and the Bucs have struggled to get to the promised land. So there is a little more excitement than usual when it comes to them being in the playoffs this year. We don’t know when the boys will be in the playoffs again, so we must enjoy this playoff run while we can.

There are so many different options when it comes to sports restaurants in the tampa bay area. If you’re going with your entire family or with somebody that likes to eat a little healthier there’s several options listed below. And depending where you’re located, there’s gonna be an option that’s perfect for you to celebrate the bucks playoff win because we want to see them in the Superbowl. But more importantly, when celebrating a win. You want to make sure you’re surrounded by fellow fans and there’s nothing better than celebrating with tampa bay buccaneers fans. Check out these several delicious Buccaneers bars and restaurants and let us know which one is your favorite! Because whether you enjoy healthy food, fried food or drinking your face off. You’re gonna find everything you need at these several locations.

Honorable Mentions

Most of the bars in the Top 5 could be found on the Bucs Bar Network page. However, we do need to give a shout out to a couple of bars that did not make the list. Like BAR HWRD, located south of Howard avenue. On Sundays, they discount your entire tab by 50 percent if you’re a part of the hospitality industry. We also got to show some love to one of the newest bars in Ybor, Southern Belle. On Gameday Sundays they offer $3 Coors or Miller beers and $5 bad calls., but if you’re really in the drinking mood you can try their $50 Touchdown Tower.

Top 5

  • American Social

What better way to watch the game than with a view of downtown Tampa? You can also enjoy 5 drinks for $20 if you choose Bud, Bud Light or Michelob Ultra. Don’t like beer? Try their buckets of 5 NUTRLs for $30. Either way, you will be enjoying the game with some great food, drink specials and scenery.

  • Soho Saloon

This is my favorite place to watch any game. Not just for the deals like $24 Bud, Bud Light or Ultra Buckets. Or even the $24 Nütrl or Los Sundays Buckets. I would go to Soho Saloon just for their food! You have to try their chicken parmesan quesadilla and the mac n cheese bites. You will thank me later.

  • Hattricks

This isn’t just a great place to watch the Bucs games, but Lightning games as well. Hattricks doesn’t only have some of the most famous wings in town, but also some of the best drink specials. Enjoy their 5 for $19.00 Bud or Bud Light Buckets, 5 for $24.00 Nutrl Buckets, or their large list of happy hour specials. Whatever you do, just make sure you try their wings “Dave’s Way”.

  • Press Box Sports Emporium

If you are going to Press Box, make sure you get there early because this place always packs up. I’m not sure if it’s because of the cheap beer buckets ($17 Bud/Bud Light Buckets, $18 Ultra Buckets) or the phenomenal food. All I know is that everyone wants to be there when it’s game time.

  • Walk On's Sports Bistreaux

Next time you’re checking out the new Mid-Town, make sure you stop by Walk On’s. You dollar goes a long way with $.50 Bud Light Bottles, $4.99 16oz Drafts, and $6.99 22oz Drafts. You’re also a couple of minutes away from the stadium just in case you get enough liquid courage in you to go to the game.
