2023 has started off strong with the females taking over the music and rap game with their lyrical anthems! It’s refreshing to see these women really coming through and proving that they have what it takes to take over the game. We’ve had a lot of new female artists this past year with new sounds, new flows, and coming with new direction. We have also received a huge lyrical hip hop record “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” from the legendary lyricist Nicki Minaj!
Whether it’s Lola Brooke coming through with a huge freestyle in the street with just a microphone with “Don’t Play With It”, or GloRilla continuing on her street streak with “Internet Trolls”, or Doechii who is from our hometown in Tampa, coming through with a different sound and vibe on “What It Is (Block Boy)”, these women got the streets and airwaves on lock!
This past year has been filled with so many amazing females and it just keeps getting better!
