Planning a bachelor/bachelorette party, birthday getaway, or just need to let go? Well, you'll have plenty of places to choose from in Florida. Four cities in Florida made the list on a recent study for best party cities in the U.S. I'm sure you can guess that Miami is one of the main ones, and you're right. South Beach is notorious for their night life.
Betspert.com made a list of the best party cities in the U.S. They looked at many factors including: nightlife attractions, taxi fares, Airbnb rates, and casinos. They also broke down which city ranked the highest for each individual factor in separate studies.
One Florida city that we were surprised didn't make the list was Orlando. They only ranked #3 in the best cities for nightlife attractions. Tampa was one of the last Florida cities to make the list, which was kind of shocking to us. They seem to have checked all the required factors, maybe the price of going out is what knocked them down the list. We know down in Ybor the nightlife stays ACTIVE for a while.

Here are the best party cities in the U.S.
St. Louis, Missouri
While you might expect the likes of Las Vegas or New Orleans to take the top spot, the actual party capital of the US is Saint Louis, Missouri with a party score of 8.45 out of 10.
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
In second place is Pittsburgh with a party score of 8.27 out of 10. Pittsburgh is known for its contribution to the steel industry, but the real steal is a $1.98 per mile taxi ride back to your Airbnb.
Cincinnati, Ohio
Completing the top three is Cincinnati with a party score of 7.98 out of 10.
Mobile, Alabama
We have no idea how a town from Alabama beat any Florida city on this list..
Cleveland, Ohio
Cleveland scored a 6.61 out of 10
Des Moines, Iowa
They have some super cheap cab fairs, which is what got them so high on the list.
Salt Lake City, Utah
Cause when we hear of Salt Lake City, we totally think of a party town... Their final score was a 6.43 out of 10
Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Fort Lauderdale was the first Florida city to make the list.
Miami, Florida
Miami's final score was 6.13, just .18 points behind Fort Lauderdale.
St. Petersburg, Florida
St. Pete had a final score of 6.07. Our high costs of AirBnb's and taxi fares is what killed our rating.
Las Vegas, Nevada
Vegas meets all of the factors, but because everything is super expensive there, it made it at the #11 spot.
Eugene, Oregon
We didn't know they had casino's in Oregon!
Seattle, Washington
Seattle's final score was 5.89
Portland, Oregon
Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Baton Rouge, Portland, and Seattle all had the score of 5.89 out of 10.
Toledo, Ohio
Toledo beat Tampa by .06 points. Their final score was 5.78 out of 10
Tampa, Florida
Because taxi's, Ubers and Lyfts are so expensive here, Tampa just made the top 20 at #17.

Reno, Nevada
Reno's final score was 5.48 out of 10
Minneapolis, Minnesota
Minneapolis and Milwaukee both have the score of 5.12 out of 10.
