BIO:
Charlotte, NC rapper DaBaby was signed to Interscope Records in 2019 releasing his debut studio album Baby on Baby. DaBaby was featured on the cover of XXL as part of the Freshman Class of that same year. DaBaby was featured on various hit songs throughout the year, including Megan Thee Stallion’s Cash SH**” and Quality Control’s “Baby”, both of which reached the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. Blame It on Baby, was released in 2020, and achieved commercial success, debuting atop the Billboard 200, becoming DaBaby’s second number-one album. It also produced his highest-charting song, “Rockstar”, featuring Roddy Ricch, which spent seven weeks at number-one on the Billboard Hot 100, and reached number-one internationally. In 2020 DaBaby released his debut EP, My Brother’s Keeper (Long Live G), paying tribute to his late brother, Glenn Johnson. He Just recently released “Better Than You” Album with NBA Youngboy whitch includes the hit “Bestie”.

10. “Baby” and Lil Baby, Control The Streets Volume 2 (2019)

The 2019 hit features DaBaby and Lil Baby rapping about their extravagant lifestyles by chilling on private planes, getting money, and speaking on their past lives. The pair have been featured together on several hits including Pop Smoke's "For The Night" and Lil Baby's "Baby Shower." "Baby" peaked at No. 11 Hot R&B Billboard Chart and No. 21 on the Hot 100 Billboard Chart.
9. “Cash S—” Megan Thee Stallion ft. DaBaby, ‘Fever’ (2019)
Share"Cash S---" is the song that started off multiple collaborations between DaBaby and Megan Thee Stallion. The two rappers would go on to collaborate on DaBaby's "Nasty" and Megan's "Cry Baby." In this song, the artists rap about flaunting their loads of cash. The song went on to peak at No. 16 on the Hot R&B Billboard Chart and No. 36 on the Hot 100 Billboard Chart. The song went 2x platinum in 2021.
8. “popstar” ft. Kevin Gates, ‘Kirk’ (2019)
Share"Popstar" is off of DaBaby's sophomore album 'Kirk,' a reference to his biological name Johnathan Kirk. In "Popstar," the rhymer raps about haters saying he's "going pop" but makes it clear in his lyrics that he is the same person he was before the fame, "They gone say I went 'Pop' (Ah-huh)/Until a n---- play with me and he get popped (Yeah)." The song went certified gold in 2021.

5. “Under the Sun” J. Cole, Lute, DaBaby, ‘Revenge of the Dreamers III’ (2021)
Share"Under the Sun" is from the third installation of Dreamville's compilation album 'Revenge of the Dreamers III.' DaBaby's verse begins rapping about Black men's choices in jewelry which can give them a stereotype of their whole persons, "I just put diamonds on all of my teeth/Now they probably think I ain't intelligent." He then raps about his haters and him getting the last word. The song was well-received by fans and went certified platinum in 2020.
4. “Lonely” and Lil Wayne, ‘Lonely’ (2021)
ShareThe Lil Wayne assisted track "Lonely" references the suicide of DaBaby's older brother and how it feels to be alone at the top. The Charlotte rhymer raps, "Ain't no love at the top, just a lonely n----/Ain't no love at the bottom either/All these blood-suckin' leachers and bottom feeders." The music video has DaBaby dressed as the Joker and as a psychiatric patient bringing havoc on the hospital.
3. “Levitating” Remix, Dua Lipa ft. DaBaby, ‘Future Nostalgia’ (2020)
ShareAlthough many controversies of the Charolotte rapper had him later removed from the "Levitating" remix, DaBaby made "Levitating" a standout hit and opened him up to a pop fanbase. Lipa sang this song with DaBaby at the 2021 Grammy Awards which Lipa won "Best Pop Vocal Album" for 'Future Nostalgia' later that night. The song spent 41 weeks of the year in the Hot 100's Top 10 and the song is now 4x certified platinum as of this year.
2. “Suge (Yea Yea)”, Baby On Baby (2019)

In an interview, DaBaby revealed that he and hitmaker producer Jetson made made the song in around 10 to 15 minutes. "Suge" is one of DaBaby's biggest solo successes as the song went 4x certified platinum in 2019.

ShareThe four-time Grammy-nominated single is the first collab between DaBaby and Roddy Ricch. In this song, DaBaby and Roddy compare the lives of rock stars and rappers. DaBaby addresses the 2018 Walmart incident where he fatally shot a man attempting to rob him and his daughter at gunpoint in the song. Amid the protest movement following the killing of George Floyd, DaBaby released a fiery "BLM" (Black Lives Matter) remix of the song on June 12, 2020 where he recounts his experiences as a Black man in America and a rapper climbing to the top. The song went on to later become 5x platinum-certified by the RIAA. The song spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart making it DaBaby's first No. 1 hit.
