Children’s Toys and Baby Monitors Can Be Taken Over by Hackers, Security Services Warn
The National Cyber Security Center has issued a new guidance calling on manufacturers to ensure that baby toys and baby monitors sold to families are secure from hackers.
A baby monitor was recently hacked giving fake information about the position and temperature of the baby.
The National Cyber Security Center was able to show how an interactive doll could be compromised and used to unlock a wifi-connected front door.
