Man Hospitalized After Losing Fight With Cockroach
A Detroit man is in the hospital after he engaged in battle with a cockroach — and lost.
The incident occurred Tuesday morning when the 50-year-old man, who wasn’t identified, saw a cockroach scamper across the floor. Because the man is confined to a wheelchair, he attempted to kill the critter by hurling a shoe at it. Unfortunately, the shoe contained a gun, which fell out, hit the floor and discharged.
The man was struck in the foot. The cockroach was unharmed.
