We talked with Tampa Bay resident Tyler Brown aka Big Worm Junior about game streaming for his followers!
Q: How’d you get into streaming?
A: I watched friends stream and I wanted to get into and share my gameplay.
Q: What was the original goal?
A: To play with people and have fun. I want to build a community and help everyone grow on Twitch.
Q: What’s been your best moment as a streamer?
A: When my buddy Michael raided me to help me get an affiliate.
Q: What games really speak to you?
A: I like shooter and RPGs. I’ve been playing Call of Duty a lot and The Last of Us.
Q: How do you like connecting with your audience? What tool do you use most (chat, Twitter, Discord, etc.)?
A: Twitter & Instagram. I recently created a discord, discord.gg/Nux2c8
Q: If your fans were only going to take one message away from watching you, what would you want that to be?
A: To love and support each other. Times are tough, but we need to stay together and stay strong.
Q: What advice would you give to aspiring streamers?
A: Keep grinding. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Get high-quality equipment and other things for stream set up, but don’t break the bank.
Q: What’s been one of the biggest surprises that you never thought of going into streaming?
A: People finding my page on TikTok, Instagram or Twitter – coming in following and subscribing.
