Fall is here and now a bunch of Tampa Bay Halloween events are underway. See what’s happening where and when around Tampa Bay this fall:

  • Busch Gardens HOWL-O-SCREAM

    22nd annual Howl-O-Scream will be held every weekend NOW thru October 31st at Busch Gardens Tampa. It will have haunted houses, scare zones and the return of the popular ‘Fiends’ show. This is a special ticketed event.

  • HarvestMoon Fun Farm

    HarvestMoon Fun Farm Maze in Masaryktown is full of family fun including a Corn Maze, Jumping Pillow, Pumpkin Patch and more. Enjoy the fun October 2nd thru November 7th and pre-purchased tickets are recommended.

  • Halloween at Universal Orlando Resort

    Halloween Horror Nights is back at Universal Orlando for their 30th anniversary. This year’s event features 10 haunted houses, 5 scare zones and 2 shows.

  • American Victory Ship & Museum’s UNDead In the Water IV 'Save Our Souls'

    Tampa’s ONLY nautical haunted attraction onboard a WWII cargo ship. According to their website for its fourth year, the ship has drifted back to Tampa after surviving a violent hurricane in the Bermuda Triangle. The frantic and terrified crew tell horrific stories of a mysterious female apparition. 

    This attraction is being offered on select days throughout the month of October. Tickets can be purchased on their website. The American Victory Ship is moving to Sparkman Wharf for the Halloween Season. The new address is 615 Channelside Drive, Tampa, FL 33602.

  • SCREAM-A-GEDDON

    This Halloween event is making it’s frightening return to Dade City. This year it features 6 terrifying attractions including the popular Zombie Paintball Assault. Tickets can be purchased online for dates September thru October 31st.

  • Ybor City Ghost Tour

    One of the most haunted towns is in our back yard: Ybor City. They are hosting Ghost Tours uncovering the stories of the popular Tampa city. Reserve your date and time NOW. 

  • ZooTampa’s Creatures of the Night

    ZooTampa at Lowry Park is brining back Creatures of the Night this October. This special ticketed event is fun for all ages and being offered on 11 select nights October 1st to October 30th. According to their website, this year’s event features Nightshadow, a dream master who brings dreams to life from the fun and whimsical to the spooky and nightmarish!

  • Tampa Riverwalk Lighted Halloween Boat Parade

    Tampa Bay’s Halloween Boat Parade will be held on the Riverwalk for ONE NIGHT ONLY! It is being held on Saturday, October 30th from 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm. You can register your boat to join the fun on their website: www.nationalpcf.org

     

  • Guppyween

    Celebrate Halloween at The Florida Aquarium Saturday, 10/30 and Sunday, 10/31 10a-3p. Guppyween is included with general admission and free for members.

  • Haunted River Tours

    Jump on a Pirate Water Taxi for a Haunted River Tour along the Hillsborough River. Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights in October. Tickets start at $25.

  • An Eerie Evening at the Tampa Bay Hotel

    Located at the Henry B. Plant Museum on October 22, 23, 29 and 30, 2021. See the Museum at night and try to solve a murder mystery. Ticket prices are: $20 Museum Members, $30 not-yet-members.

  • Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail

    Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail is an outdoor haunted trail located in Plant City. Tickets must be purchased online in advance for the 2021 season. Ticket prices vary by night and the event runs Fridays-Sunday in October and November 5-6.  

  • SeaWorld Orlando HOWL-O-SCREAM

    HOWL-O-SCREAM takes over SeaWorld Orlando for the first time in 2021. For 27 nights SeaWorld Orlando will be transformed into a fully immersive Halloween event with haunted houses, scare zones, roaming haunts and original shows including ‘Monster Stomp’.

  • Scream and Stream

    Central Florida’s contactless drive-thru event! Located at the Oviedo Mall near Orlando and happening on select dates September 17 – October 31st! You pay once price per car (8 passengers max). You can also save $20 when you book your ticket in advance online.

    This year drive inside a top-secret facility, known only as “Station 5”. Armed with laser guns, you and your group will come face to face with horrifying zombies and clowns. Can you blast your way to survival?

     

  • Disney After Hours Boo Bash

    This family friendly event will take place on select nights now through October 31 and requires a separate ticket.

  • Take a Tour Through the Lutz 'Edward Scissorhands' House

    Take a tour through the LutzEdward Scissorhands‘ house. Movie buffs can now experience the Tim Burton world right here in Tampa Bay.

    Please visit @official_scissorland on Instagram to set an appointment. The owners are doing their best to control traffic and they no longer take walkups. You will be able to DM them on Instagram for details.

  • Nightmare on Franklin Street

    From October 16-31 the historic Tampa Theatre will show classic Halloween movies. They will also offer a ‘Ghosts of Tampa Theatre Tour’ on those date, times vary. 

  • Halloween on Central

    On October 31st St. Pete will shutdown 22 blocks of Central Avenue from 12p-5p for their Halloween on Central event. There will be trick-or-treating, costume contests, entertainment, local business vendors, and more. The event is free and for the entire family, including pets! 

  • Sylvan Ramble Halloween Light Show

    Sylvan Ramble Halloween Light Shows run from Oct 1st-31st on Friday and Saturday nights. Their event is free but they are accepting donations to benefit Clothes To Kids, a Tampa Bay non-profit. You need to register for a show date online.

  • Haunted Wharf

    Haunted Wharf returns for six nights, Oct. 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 and 30. You can get your pre-sale tickets here >>

  • Tampa Riverwalk Halloween Hunt

    The virtual scavenger hunt, better known as Halloween Hunt, goes from Saturday October 16th through Sunday October 31st.

    What’s great about this free scavenger hunt is that the family can play anytime. Just download the Mobile Adventures app, scan the QR code and you’re off and running! The Tampa Riverwalk is a great backdrop while you or the whole family solve riddles, puzzles, and tasks to become the first place HalloWinner!

  • Haunted Carnival

    The first-ever Haunted Carnival at Armature Works runs October 28th through Sunday, October 31st!

    It is over 200,000 square feet of rides and carnival food. Each night there will also be a featured performer on the “Killer Beats Stage”. Get more info here.

  • World’s Largest Food Truck Rally

    The world’s largest food truck rally happens in Tampa Bay on Halloween weekend, October 30 & 31. No trick, just delicious treats await when it throws down at Tampa Premium Outlets. Keep up with all the event info here. It’s also part of the 17th Annual Wesley Chapel Fall Festival.
