Here are the best 5 seafood restaurants in Tampa. I love seafood and I’m sure many others in Tampa do as well. That’s why we have so many great places to choose from! I have been to 3 out of the 5 of the restaurants that  Trip advisor  had on their list. Each one of them are unique and I’ve never had a bad experience. 5 stars from me. I hope to try the other 2 before the end of 2023!

Trip Advisor has a bunch of other great places on their list. My list of seafood restaurants in Tampa are only places I know are worth the trip! One place that didn’t make my list that I think needs an honorable mention is Jackson’s Bistro. Not only do they have great sushi, but you also get to soak in gorgeous views of the Downtown Tampa skyline. This is a great place to head to before any concert or hockey game at Amalie Arena.

Do you love everything seafood? Well, you have come to the right place. Below are the 5 best seafood restaurants in Tampa.

  • Eddie V's Prime Seafood

Eddie V’s is a very popular steak and seafood restaurant located In Tampa. You can find it right across from International Plaza. I love this place so much because not only is it upscale, but they also care about the community. I was apart of a fashion show there last year and all proceeds went to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

The menu offers great seafood options from around the world including Icelandic Cod, Chilean Sea Bass, and of course, Florida Grouper. Their steak options are great too. The wait staff are very knowledgeable and service is excellent.

  • Oystercatchers

My first time going to Oystercatchers was for Fathers day last year. I took my boyfriend there and we fell in love with the restaurant. Oystercatchers has a fantastic view. This restaurant is located at the edge of Old Tampa Bay and is part of the Grand Hyatt. One of the best things on the menu is their selection of locally sourced fish served wood grilled, blackened or sauteed. The experience is one you won’t forget.

  • Charley’s Steak House & Market Fresh Fish

I love Charley’s Steak House!  My first time experiencing Charley’s was in 2019. I tried the surf ‘n’ turf and fell in love.  Charley’s Features only the best Grade ‘A’ beef, cut fresh daily and seasoned for 30 hours before being grilled over Florida citrus & oak wood. Charley’s is  mostly known as a steakhouse, but half the menu is dedicated to crab, fish, shrimp, and lobster.  They also have a wine list with over 800 selections.

  • Big Ray's Fish Camp

I have yet to go to Big Ray’s Fish Camp but I hear great things about this restaurant. It’s located in South Tampa and is known for preparing traditional Tampa seafood favorites. One of the best thing’s on the menu is the lightly breaded Grouper sandwich! Some critics say it’s the best in the city.  Big Ray’s Fish Camp is a tiny restaurant but very charming. Flip Flops and shorts are welcomed.

  • Rusty Pelican

The Rusty Pelican is a classic seafood-and-steak restaurant located on the waters of Tampa!  This restaurant has great views and makes a great first impression. According to Trip Advisor, if you go there you should  try the Rocky Point Grouper topped with fresh asparagus! People also speak very highly of their steaks. The Rusty Pelican is a well-known event location, hosting weddings and other events for up to 300 guests.
