6 Florida Cities Have The Fewest Children
Birth rates have declined! By year 2021 the levels had dropped more than 20%. Even though the birth rate has declined, it does not seem like it right? There are kids everywhere you look and one of my friends is always getting pregnant. This made me wonder, so I decided to google which cities have the most and least children.
The research team at AAA State of Play looked at the 2020 census results to find the answers. They analyzed the 2020 census results by city for all U.S. cities with more than 100,000 people. From there, they found the percentage of their population that is 18 or younger.
A majority of the cities with the most children were in California and Texas, with many of them located along the border. The cities with the fewest children were mainly located along the East Coast, with most cities being located in Florida. It’s not really surprising because Florida has one of the oldest populations in the country.
