It was quite the sight today (5/18/22) at the Tampa Convention Center as the U.S. Special Operations Command performed a demonstration to show their military preparedness for hostile situations.

This was a demonstration of capabilities featuring simulated explosions, simulated gunfire and low-flying aircraft. It’s part of the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference and included more than 175 SOCOM and international service members from 11 nations. The river event had helicopters, boats, all-terrain vehicles, scuba divers and ground forces were used to “rescue” a city official from “hostile” forces.
