There are some big bargains right now if you have some vacation time left to use up. The holidays are notoriously expensive for airfare, but if you have some flexibility and can get away for a week, here are 10 great travel deals for flights from Tampa International Airport. All of these are roundtrip airfares. One thing to note is this most of these deals do NOT include your baggage… not even a carry on. But here’s my pro tip: Amazon sells a “personal item” size travel bag for $10. If you can pack light, you’ll be surprised how much you can fit in one!

  • Las Vegas $108

Ready to hit the blackjack tables and a buffet? There are some big names doing residencies right now in Vegas, including Katy Perry, Usher, Adele, Aerosmith and Miranda Lambert. Sin City is calling with this crazy low airfare from Frontier. It’s non-stop and roundtrip for just over $100 from Saturday, November 5 through Friday, November 11. Wow.

  • San Francisco $179

A coast to coast trip for under $200 is a bargain. Get some soup in a sourdough bread bowl while you stare out at the Golden Gate Bridge. Or take the ferry over to Alcatraz. This airfare is for a flight leaving Tampa January 15 and returning January 21 on Frontier. No carry on bags included in this fare. Just a personal item so keep that in mind. Both flights also have a fairly lengthy layover in Denver.

  • Boston $129

Being from New England, I don’t know I can personally reccomend visiting Boston this time of year. The foliage season is over and now it’s getting close to snow storm season. That could really mess up your travel. But Boston does have my favorite chicken parmesan and Italian pastries in the North End. Spirit Airlines has this flight deal. The departing flight leaves early at 6am on November 10, but it’s non stop. You’d return on November 16. That one is nonstop too. Accommodations in Boston aren’t cheap though so that’ll definitely offset the money you’re saving on airfare.

  • Bogota, Colombia $324

I just made my first visit to South America this year and it blew me away how much I enjoyed it. And if you like to save money, Bogota is perfect! Great meals you’d pay $50 for in the U.S. can be as low as $5 to $10 there. And be sure to ride the cable cars to the top of Monserrate. It’s 10,000 feet up so take it slow! This airfare was found on a flight leaving Tampa at 7am on November 28 and returning December 4. Both flights require a connnection in Fort Lauderdale.

  • Chicago $108

Go get some deep dish pizza at Lou Malnati’s and catch a Chicago Blackhawks game. (The national anthem experience alone at Blackhawks game is worth the ticket price.) This nonstop route from Frontier departs November 3 and returns to Tampa on November 9. The good news is it’s nonstop both ways.

  • Nashville $94

Hit those country bars or maybe do a Nashville Predators game. This deal from American Airlines leaves Tampa at 9:50am or at 2:40pm on December 3 and you come back December 10. Nonstop both ways. You can bring a carry on bag on these flights without adding any charges.

  • Barcelona, Spain $513

Anytime you get a Europe airfare for around $500 is a good deal. And ironically the best PIZZA I’ve ever had in my life was in Barcelona. (Look up El Sortidor if you go and you’re welcome in advance.) When I went a few years ago, hotels were crazy expensive so we ended up staying on a YACHT! It was less expensive and was a pretty cool experience. Air Canada is offering this rate for a flight from Tampa on March 27 of 2023 and returning April 5. Both have long layovers in Canada, but hey – consider it an extra mini vacation. Especially the flight back… you get almost a full day in Montreal – another one of my favorite cities.

  • Charleston $118

This South Carolina spot was just named the best place in the U.S. to retire. I’ve never flown Breeze airlines before but it’s a quick one hour nonstop flight on January 5 with a return on January 14. This one does include a carry on.

  • St. Louis $58

Ever seen the Gateway Arch in person? This super low airfare is from Frontier but you’re going to set the alarm clock to a disturbingly early time. The flight leaves from Tampa at 6am on November 19 and returns late on November 26. Both routes are nonstop though so it’s just 2 hours of travel.

  • Denver $138

Being a mile high in November isn’t for every Floridian, but maybe get some skiing in. This Frontier flight leaves November 19 at 8pm but it’s nonstop so you’ll be in Denver by 10:15pm with the time changes. The flight back is also nonstop on Friday, November 25.
