EIGHT Florida beaches were named in Tripadvisor’s “Best of the best beaches”. We can’t say were surprised. Florida is notorious for their white sandy beaches and spring break destinations. Tripadvisor creates these lists based off the opinions of their readers, and the people have spoken!
Each year, Tripadvisor.com compiles ‘best of’ lists based on their reader’s choices. Those ‘Traveler’s Choice’ lists include the most popular beaches, destinations, hotels, restaurants and things-to-do. First, they released their “destinations” category for 2023, now beaches. For each ranking Tripadvisor gives recommendations for where to stay and top attractions.
The Florida beach that ranked in the #2 spot is about 1-2 hour drive from the Tampa Bay area. It’s never as packed as Clearwater or St. Pete Beach. Which means, if you get an early head start to your day, you can make a day trip there. Florida and Hawaii tied for most beaches on the list. Both states had 8 beaches that made the rankings.
