These are the five most notorious serial killer that are synonymous with Florida. To be honest, I’ve been watching a lot of serial killer documentaries recently and realized there’s many I never knew about. These people either lived in Florida during the killings or killed people from the state of Florida. Some of these names you might have heard of before like Ted Bundy and some you never known before today. There’s been several over the past several decades including the notorious ‘I-95 Killer’ with many being executed by the state of Florida.

It’s interesting to find out their stories and what year they started killing people. It’s hard to find out why they went on their killing spree but many of these serial killer ended up murdering dozens of people. Some of these victims were raped before being killed but luckily most were caught with the help of the community. One example is notorious serial killer Aileen Wuornos who who targeted and killed seven men. She claimed they had either assaulted or attempted to assault her while she was a prostitute. She died by lethal injection in 2002.

As a matter of fact, I never knew about the notorious serial killer Samuel Little until today! It’s crazy that he admitted to killing almost 100 people and justified his decision. He wanted to cleanse the world of disgusting human beings and took matters into his own hands. Little killed 93 women, making him one of the most prolific serial killers in US history. He targeted vulnerable women often prostitutes or drug addicts and then would kill them by strangulation. He died in 2020 while serving multiple life sentences for his crimes.   • Gary Ray Bowles

    Bowels nickname was the ‘I-95 Killer’ starting his murder spree in Daytona in 1994. He ultimately killed six people over several different states. Bowels would prostitute himself then murder the victim by beating them to death. He would then steal all their money and credit cards. The state of Florida State Prison executed by lethal injection in 2019.

  • Ted Bundy

    Ted Bundy was a notorious American serial killer who known for his charming personality and good looks. He was known for luring young women to their deaths. Bundy confessed to murdering at least 30 young women all over the United States. He was executed in the electric chair in 1989.

  • Aileen Wuornos

    Wuornos was an American serial killer who targeted and killed seven men in Florida. She claimed they had either assaulted or attempted to assault her while she was a prostitute. She died by lethal injection in 2002. Her case drew significant attention debating her mental state and the nature of her self-defense claims.

  • Samuel Little

    Little confessed to killing at least 93 women, making him one of the most prolific serial killers in US history. He targeted vulnerable women often prostitutes or drug addicts and then would kill them by strangulation. He died in 2020 while serving multiple life sentences for his crimes.

  • Danny Rolling

    Danny Rolling, also known as the “Gainesville Ripper,” was an American serial killer active in the early 1990s. He terrorized the college town of Gainesville, Florida, by brutally murdering five college students over four days in August 1990. Rolling was known for his violent and sadistic methods, often posing his victims’ bodies in disturbing ways. He was captured and sentenced to death in 1994 and was executed by lethal injection in 2006.
