Did you travel during the holidays? I traveled on Thanksgiving and it wasn’t a bad experience at all. I live in St. Petersburg but I ended up flying out of the Orlando airport. My flight was on time and everything. With that being said, “Here is the most on-time airline in the United States.” Have a guess? well you will find out below.
I Flew Spirit During Thanksgiving
I actually had a pleasant experience flying Spirit on Thanksgiving. They are not the most on-time airline in the United States but they did come in at number 6 on this list. I usually don’t have anything positive to say about Spirit Airlines, but they were great this time around.
I purchased my ticket last minute and it was cheap. On top of that I believe I flew on one of their newer airplanes. It was spacious and relaxing. Never thought I would be saying this about Spirit and no they are not paying me (lol). When I talked about this on the radio many people were texting in that I must be getting a paid endorsement. Cirium which is an aviation analytics company put this list together. The company said they incorporated flight data from over 600 sources to rank airlines and airports for their on-time performance. The company has been doing these reports for over 15 years. So, in other words “they know their stuff.”

5. Southwest Airlines
Southwest Airlines comes in as the 5th most on-time airline in the United States. They received an on-time arrival percentage of 76.26%

4. United Airlines
United Airlines comes in at number 4 on this list. They received an on-time arrival percentage of 80.04%
3. American Airlines
American Airlines is the 3rd most on-time airlines in the United States. They received an on-time arrival percentage of 80.61.

2. Alaskan Airlines
This is the only airline I have never flown and it came in as the 2nd most on-time airline in the United States. Alaskan received an on-time arrival percentage of 82.25%
1. Delta Airlines
Delta Airlines is the most on-time airline in the United States. I pretty much figured even before reading the article. They are a little pricey but I have never had a bad experience. They received an on-time arrival percentage of 84.72.
