The vibe and flavor reaches into pop mc’s like Bryce Vine and even in the R&B groups like New Edition. Bell Biv DeVoe ooze the culture and let’s not forget Bobby Brown.

I was always told people rap but hip hop is the life around the art. Makes a lot of sense. It isn’t something we do but it is something that we live. Lecrae - March 19th

Lecrae is an actor, artist, president, co-owner and founder of Reach Records. He was the first hip hop artist to land the Grammy for Best Gospel Album. Catch him at Crossover Church 1235 E. Fowler Ave
Bryce Vine - March 26th

Bryce Vine, the Cali singer and rapper is famous for landing a couple of hits on the Billboard Hot 100. Both came from his debut CD “Carnival“. You may have bumped “Drew Barrymore” and “La La Land” since both were pretty active on social media. Check out Bryce at Jannus Live.
Onyx - April 13th

Onyx, consisting of rapper/actor duo Fredro Starr and Sticky Fingaz, put their stamp on 90’s hip hop with hit’s like “Slam” and “Shut Em Down“. Onyx is loud, brash and certainly hip hop. With TV and movie placement, their personalities have rivaled their music. However, as I’m typing this, a commercial for Progessive is playing “Slam” right now. New Edition - April 30th

Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky, Mike, Ralph and Johnny make up the 6 man, 3.0 version of R&B supergroup New Edition. They began as a young, hip, singing group. Yet, hip hop is all over this guys together and apart. Bobby Brown? Bell Biv Devoe (who gave us Boyz II Men)? Hip Hop is a close cuzzin of these Boston boys to men. Ice Cube - April 28th

Hip hop icon and media mogul, Ice Cube brings a classic celebration to the USF campus. The actor, director, and Big 3 basketball league owner is taking the stage with Cleveland MC’s Bone Thugs & Harmony, Lisa Lisa, 2 Live Crew, JJ Fad and Color Me Badd. The Yuengling Center is the spot for this classic night out.
Snoop Dogg - Aug 12
