I love people who are share hidden gems about Florida. No need to gatekeep these special places, we all want to experience the sunshine states greatness. One of the places she revealed was what she calls “the number one beach in Florida.” This beach which you will hear about below is about an hour from where I live in St. Petersburg.

Follow Me Away Travel is an Instagram dedicated to hidden gems in Florida. It’s ran by Victoria and Terrence who are Florida Travel Experts. Their online content has gained them over 1M followers on Instagram. There was a particular post that caught my attention and it was about “Florida’s Number One Beach.”
The creators of Follow Me away travel says the beach is located in Dunedin which is in the Tampa Bay area. The beach is called Caladesi Island and it looks beautiful. From the video it also looks like not very many people were there. Something I would appreciate because Im not a fan of overly crowded places. Now to get there you do have to board a fairy. The fairy cost $18 per person but it looks well worth it. Check out the video below. Keep in mind rattle snakes are on this Island.
