R. Kelly Kept From Meeting With Lawyers Because of Coronavirus

R. Kelly couldn’t meet with his legal team due to Coronavirus this week.
The singer, who is currently being held at MCC Chicago, was unable to meet with his lawyers due to a halt on jail visits for the next 30 days.
The Bureau of Prisons in Illinois will allow prisoner’s legal teams to meet up on a case-by-case basis, for now however, R. Kelly will have to wait to see his lawyers who had been trying to see him more often to check on his well-being and to go over his legal strategy.
R. Kelly is able to call his lawyers from jail as a substitute for in-person meetings.
