LIST: Tampa Bay Fall Halloween Events 2020
Fall is here and now a bunch of Halloween events are underway. See what’s happening where and when around Tampa Bay this fall:
21st annual Howl-O-Scream will be held every weekend NOW thru November 1st at Busch Gardens Tampa. It will have open aired scare zones and the return of the popular Fiends show. This is a special ticketed event and will need a park reservation as well.
HarvestMoon Fun Farm Maze in Masaryktown is full of family fun including a Corn Maze, Jumping Pillow, Pumpkin Patch and more. Enjoy the fun October 3rd thru November 8th and pre-purchased tickets are recommended.
Halloween Horror Nights has been cancelled this year but they will be opening two haunted houses for day guests at Universal Studios. Trick-or-treating will be offered at Islands of Adventure for kids 12 and under. Halloween and Fall festivities can be enjoyed daily from October 3rd thru November 1st. You will need a theme park ticket to enter.
The Kapok Special Events Center in Clearwater will be transformed into a haunted hot spot with 70s disco, 80s freestyle and 90s hits by DJ Hoof.
The highly popular Sparkman Warf in downtown Tampa is rolling details about their second annual Haunted Wharf. It will feature an interactive maze on the waterside of the wharf. According to their Eventbrite page, it's is suitable for kids and adults. Tickets for the event must be purchased in advance and are $10. Limited space is available due to COVID-19 precautions.
Tampa's ONLY nautical haunted attraction onboard a WWII cargo ship. The ship is filled with infected zombies that you must try to escape from. This attraction is being offered on select days throughout the month of October. Tickets can be purchased on their website.
This Halloween event is making it's frightening return to Dade City. They are making a grand revival with six haunted houses, two of which are interactive, and the popular Zombie Paintball Assault. Tickets can be purchased online for dates October 1st thru November 1st.
Central Florida's first contactless drive-thru event! Located in Orlando and happening on select dates September 25 - November 7, 2020! Tickets must be purchased in advance.
One of the most haunted towns is in our back yard: Ybor City. They are hosting Ghost Tours uncovering the stories of the popular Tampa city. Reserve your date and time NOW thru December 5th.
ZooTampa at Lowry Park is brining back Creatures of the Night this October. This special ticketed event is fun for all ages and being offered on 11 select nights October 2nd to October 31st. This years event is themed around campfire tales and featuring new outdoor Halloween experiences.
Tampa Bay’s 1st Halloween Boat Parade will be held on the Riverwalk for ONE NIGHT ONLY! It is being held on Saturday, October 24th from 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm. You can register your boat to join the fun on their website: www.nationalpcf.org
Celebrate Halloween at The Florida Aquarium Saturday, 10/31 9:30a-9p and Sunday, 11/1 9:30a-5p. Children (3-11) in costume will receive a Halloween surprise, while supplies last.
Located at the Henry B. Plant Museum on October 23, 24, and 30, 2020 from 6-9:30 pm. See the Museum at night and try to solve a murder mystery.
Jump on a Pirate Water Taxi for a Haunted River Tour along the Hillsborough River. Friday, Saturday & Sunday night in October. Tickets start at $25.
They are transforming a few locations in the area into trick-or-treat stops that will be contact-free. It all starts October 15th and runs through Halloween. Check their website for details.
Sir Henry's Haunted Trail is an outdoor haunted trail located in Plant City.
In Spring Hill the Pasco Sheriff's Office will be hosting a Trunk or Treat October 30th & 31st at The Concourse.
Open now thru October 31. Monday-Friday 12p-6p; Saturday 10a-6p; Sunday 12p-5p.
