It’s Valentines Day and most of us love our airport in Tampa. Compared to other big cities, getting in and out at Tampa International Airport is a breeze. If you Uber to the airport, this won’t bug you much. But if you park when you fly, you’re about to see a couple price increases for parking.
First the good news – hourly rates are staying the same, according to the Tampa Bay Times. But they say overnight parking in the economy lot is about to become less economical. The price for 24 hours of parking will jump from $12 to $14 starting April 4, 2023. Parking just went up from $10 to $12 a year or so ago. And that’s not it. ANOTHER price hike to $18 a day is coming once some construction projects are finished next year, according to the article.
One way to get around the price hikes is to book your parking in advance online. That will save you a couple bucks a day. You can book up to a year in advance. [Source: Tampa Bay Times]
