Tampa Brazilian Steakhouse Named Best Buffet

Whether you are traveling, heading out with a group, or simply hungry, who doesn’t love a good buffet? It offers options for everyone. A popular Brazilian steakhouse was named the best buffet in Tampa by USA Today’s 10Best.

Texas de Brazil is primarily known for all-you-can-eat meat carved right at your table. However, it’s a “best of both buffets”; you can also walk up to their numerous table spreads to add to your plate. Florida natives are fortunate that this Brazilian chain has nine locations in the state. The Tampa spot, is near Bayshore Boulevard. Due to its consistency, vibrancy, and delicious offerings this Texas de Brazil has been making customers happy since opening in 2011.

Located within the MetWest International complex, this restaurant immediately capitalized on its location. It attracts tourists and locals alike because it is open seven days a week. In addition, there are various price points, with dinner buffet options starting at $57.99 and salad area only costing $31.99.

The unique component to this buffet is that the main course is brought right to you. Servers present meat options to your table. Arriving fresh on hot skewers, if you have an appetite for this churrasco experience, it is carved right onto your plate. Options here include Brazilian sausage, lamb chops, and picanha. All of their meats are cooked the gaucho way – over an open flame with natural wood charcoal.

Finally, at any time, you are invited to serve yourself at the tables that feature all the side dishes, salads, and alternative options, too.

What Else?

Brazil de Texas offers an array of craft drinks to accompany your food choice. A bar menu, decadent desserts, and to-go options are also available. While the massive food spread is why to 10Best’s selection of this Brazilian Steakhouse in Tampa being named best buffet, its overall value was also considered. They have a dedicated staff that is focused on the large group experience. The price point allows you to fill-up and walk away satisfied without breaking the bank.

Texas de Brazil Tampa is located in a destination section of the city. It contains numerous hotels, shopping areas, and is less than three miles from the airport. Equally as important, it’s a frequent stop for those in town to catch a Buccaneers game at Raymond James Stadium (approximately five minutes away). Texas de Brazil describes themselves as an authentic place rich in tradition that is, “carving a new experience.” That’s certainly an appropriate spirit for the “Suncoast.”

10 Florida Players Were Drafted By NFL Teams

The 2023 NFL draft is officially in the books. The seven round event, which is a massive spectacle, wrapped up Saturday afternoon in Kansas City. In total, 10 Florida college players were drafted by NFL teams.

The University of Florida had the most players drafted. Six Gators were selected. Two of them were in the second round. Next, the University of Miami had three players drafted. Finally, the Florida State Seminoles had one player selected, early on the last day.

Although the big three Florida teams typically lead the way in delivering NFL talent each year, there is usually another Sunshine State school that has a player picked. That was not the case this year. Division one programs like the University of South Florida or University of Central Florida did not have anyone selected. It is likely they will have players who are offered a tryout, however.

Who’s Going to the NFL?

Quarterback Anthony Richardson from the Florida Gators was the fourth named off the board. It was well-known coming into the draft that Richardson would be a high pick. With his natural size, speed, and athletic ability, Richardson was projected to be a highly sought-after prospect for the past year. He only started 13 games in college. Nonetheless, the Indianapolis Colts clearly loved what they saw and started the run of Florida student-athletes entering the NFL this year.

To break down the draft class further, four of the 10 players are offensive positions, and six of the players are defenders. To start, Richardson was the only quarterback of the group. Furthermore, Richardson’s teammate, Ventrell Miller, will be the only one staying in-state. The Jacksonville Jaguars selected him in the fourth round, and subsequently, will only have to move about 75 miles north.
