Saweetie is gearing up her fans for the summer, releasing her new track, "Nani," on Friday, May 17th. Teasing the track earlier this week, the rapper and singer wrote on Instagram: “We gon’ f--- up the Summer."

Last weekend at the 2024 Gold Gala, the 30-year-old California native told Billboard on the red carpet, “‘Nani’ is that girl. ‘Nani’ is main character energy." As for what's coming up for the artist, she told the publication that "hopefully," her debut studio album, Pretty Bitch Music, will release this year. With over 300 songs recorded, the artist said, "We'll get to it."

"Nani" marks Saweetie's second solo single of the year, after February's "Richtivities," which was included in a six-song project titled PRETTY HU$TLER MIX. The project includes previously released tracks “Pretty Bitch Freestyle,” “BO$$ Chick,” “Pretty & Rich,” “Get It Girl” and her 2017 breakout debut single “ICY GIRL."

As we previously reported, Saweetie shut down rumors that she was no longer putting out an album after she said, “I just feel like nobody was caring about my music. To me, music is sacred.” She added she cares for her music deeply, which is why she hasn’t dropped her album.

Saweetie: 11 Icy Lyrics For Your Instagram Captions

Saweetie -- born Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper -- has made a name for herself in a short period of time. She has been infamously crowned the "sponsorship queen" due to her always chasing a bag through companies such as McDonald's, MAC, Crocs and many more. Not only does the Bay Area princess know how to chase a bag, but she is also finally getting the recognition she deserves for making catchy hits. The "Tap In" rapper was nominated for not one but two Grammys in 2022 for "Best New Artist" and for "Best Rap Song" for her hit "Best Friend" featuring Doja Cat. Although she didn't take home the trophy, fans are patiently waiting for her debut album Pretty B.I.T.C.H. Music which she has declared is not "an album it's a movement." However, when the rapper is not making deals or hits in the studio, she is known to flex on the 'gram in her designer fits and icy jewelry. Coming up with a caption for your fire Instagram picture is hard but Saweetie's lyrics are about to make it easier. Take a look at 11 "icy" captions for your Instagram photos:
